Local Band Celebrates 10 Years of Career

This Thursday, July 17, at 8:30 PM, the band K2 will celebrate 10 years of their career with a free concert at the stage in Museum Square. The band has prepared a special setlist featuring songs from their album MusiK2 (2000/Independent), their album Locomotiva (2004/Independent), and unreleased tracks from their new, yet-to-be-named album, currently being recorded at Mosh Studios in São Paulo. The new work is a reflection of their 10-year journey, transformed into music and lyrics.

More mature and experienced, the group will perform songs like A Lei do Som, Te Espero em São Paulo, and O Meu Menino Voou, tracks already familiar to fans through videos and live recordings available online.

"We are very happy and proud to be celebrating 10 years of dedication to a project that is also our dream. For us, the greatest proof that we are on the right path is the recognition from the public, who resonate with our message, amidst so much music imposed by media channels. We are deeply grateful for those who enjoy the music we create and for those who take the time to listen to what we have to say," said Pedrinho, the vocalist.

Joining Pedrinho are Diego on bass, Lucas on guitar, Douglas on drums, and new guitarist Leonardo Testoni. Together, they showcase the result of years invested in studying and working for the love of music.
