Casa das Máquinas Felt Right at Home

Netinho and Marinho on drums, Mário Testoni Jr. on organ and keyboard formed the foundational trio of the band, joined by fresh faces João Luiz on vocals, Leonardo Testoni on guitar, and a new bassist debuting at this show. Together, they felt right at home.

The festival, which showcased an underground lineup with remarkable performances and a bizarre yet progressive atmosphere, reaffirmed its influence.

Casa das Máquinas delivered a unique blend of 70s rock that only they know the recipe for, featuring keyboard solos reminiscent of Rainbow and Deep Purple, guitar lines true to the originals, and a bassline performed with great confidence. A spectacle of its own was the dual drumming, with Netinho appearing to be left-handed and having a more flamboyant style, while Marinho, a right-handed drummer, played with a steadier rhythm.

They won over the audience immediately. Radiating confidence and familiarity, vocalist João Luiz demonstrated he knew exactly who he was singing for—the fans who had waited a long time for this performance packed with classic songs: Londres, Natureza, Mania de Ser, Stress, Epidemia de Rock, and Casa do Rock (also known as Jogue Tudo pra Cabeça), all performed with poise and accompanied by a strategically choreographed stage presence.
